Endangered

This week i read 'Endangered' by Eliot Schrefer. This book is about a girl named Sophie. When Sophie has to go visit her mother at her sanctuary for bonbons, she finds a young bonobo named Otto and for the very first time in her life she feels as though she is important in someone else's life. However, an armed revolution breaks out and they both must escape into the jungle unprepared and they have to struggle to eat, sleep, stay warm, and stay safe.

This is a very good book that I recommend to anyone even if you don't LOVE monkeys (and apes) I would say that this book would be in the action/survival-fantasy genre.

Forgive me Lenard Peacock Book response

This week i read Forgive me Lenard Peacock by Mathew Quick. This book is very interesting. It is about a 18 year old kid who gets bullied at school because people think that he is gay. He is thinking about commuting a murder-suicide. To his former best friends. Today was his birthday and he wanted to say goodbye to everyone he cared for in a proper way.

This book gives you a whole different view on the world  I would only recommend this book to second year AS. I would say this would be in the Coming of the Age drama genre.
