the clockwork three

This book is about three people. One is named Giusueppe another is Hannah and the last is Fredrick.

Giusueppe is a musican that plays out on the streets. However, he has to give all of the money he makes to a man called Stephano. If you don't bring back enough he would punish you. Then, Giusueppe then finds a green violin. It makes a beautiful noise. He gets a lot of money from it. But he hides it to save up for a boat ticket out a there. He then, gets betrayed by one of his friends that he gives money to. His friend shows Stephano his stash. Then, he tries to run away at that moment. He escapes but he is on the run for his life.

Hannah is a maid at a hotel. Then, one day this strange person comes to the hotel. She wants Hannah to be her personal assistant for the rest of her stay. The people at the hotel are mean to her so she accepts. They go to an opera with Fredrick. Because they asked Fredrick to make an automaton for them. After that, her father gets very sick, and the doctor says they have to amputate or get a very expensive medicine. They decide to get the medicine. But they can't afford it so Hannah asks her "master" to loan the money to her. When she runs back to the hotel and finds her helping the people that she didn't like at the hotel to find some "treasure". Hannah got mad so she stole a necklace and told one of her friends to sell it. Her friend gives it back to the head manager of the hotel and Hannah gets fired.

Fredrick is an  apprentice clock master. He is secretly building a giant clockwork man because he wants to get into a hard clockwork business to get into when he's older. He steels a coal shute for the chest, and then he starts on the hardest part. The head. Then, one day Hannah comes with her "master", and she asks him to make an automaton for them. Then, one day, he goes to the person Hannah's following and asks her about it he also asks where Hannah is and she says she doesn't work here anymore. Then the strange guest has to leave for a mysterious reason and has to cancel the order.

I really like this book. I'm not done with it yet because it's a two week book, but I would defiantly give it a 5/5 stars.

  1. Are all of the stories connected or simultaneously happening, I know you talked a little about that, but I wasn't sure.
